New Delhi: In a decisive military response to last month’s deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir—which killed 26 tourists—India today launched 24 standoff precision cruise missile strikes across nine terrorist-linked locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK). Intelligence reports confirmed these targets had direct ties to cross-border terrorism.
The strikes targeted critical terror infrastructure belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) in areas identified as hotbeds of terrorist activity, including Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Bahawalpur, Rawalakot, Chakswari, Bhimber, Neelum Valley, Jhelum, and Chakwal.

An 82-acre LeT hub known for radicalisation and training, linked to the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. - Tehra Kalan Facility (JeM) – Shakargarh, Pakistan:
Used for cross-border tunnel operations and drone launches targeting the Samba sector. - Mehmoona Joya Facility (HM) – Sialkot, Pakistan:
A launchpad for infiltration into Jammu, overseen by notorious HM commander Irfan Tanda. - Markaz Ahle Hadith (LeT) – Barnala, PoJK:
A key LeT infiltration base near the Poonch-Rajouri-Reasi sector. - Markaz Abbas (JeM) – Kotli, PoJK:
Headquarters for JeM operations led by Qari Zarrar, linked to the 2016 Nagrota army camp attack. - Maskar Raheel Shahid (HM) – Kotli, PoJK:
