📊 Top Highlights:
- Mahindra recorded 8.9% month-on-month growth, selling 52,330 units, and climbed to second place, overtaking Hyundai.
- MG Motor also saw a 6% sales increase, reaching 5,829 units, and gained marginal market share.
- Tata Motors and Hyundai witnessed declines of 12.4% and 14.4% respectively, with Hyundai slipping from second to fourth position.
- Toyota, Kia, and Skoda also reported reduced numbers but saw stable or slightly increased market share due to the industry-wide slump.
- Honda suffered the steepest fall with a 53.5% drop, managing only 3,360 units.
- Volkswagen also declined 19.4%, though it maintained a near-consistent market share.
As industry players adjust to new market dynamics, Mahindra’s domestic surge and MG’s consistent growth offer rare silver linings in a largely downward trend. Maruti, despite slipping numbers, maintains a dominant position heading into Q1 FY 2025-26.
