New Delhi, May 13 – India’s diplomatic and trade relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan are showing signs of strain after both nations publicly backed Pakistan and condemned India’s targeted strikes on terror camps across the Line of Control under Operation Sindoor.

Following these developments, strong reactions have emerged in India. Prominent travel platforms like EaseMyTrip and Ixigo have issued advisories discouraging travel to Turkey and Azerbaijan. Meanwhile, Indian traders have begun boycotting Turkish goods, including apples and marble, in protest.

India initiated Operation Sindoor on May 7, retaliating against the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir by neutralizing nine terror hubs in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The Pakistani military reportedly deployed Turkish drones during its failed response.

Despite the tension, India and Pakistan recently agreed to cease all land, air, and sea hostilities from 5 PM, May 11.
