Amritpal Singh Flees Punjab, Woman Detained in Haryana, and Gunman Arrested

A woman, Baljit Kaur, has been arrested by Haryana Police for allegedly harboring ‘Waris Punjab De’ leader, Amritpal Singh, and his associate, Papalpreet Singh, at her home in Kurukshetra district. The arrest raises the possibility that Singh may have fled Punjab. The Punjab Police, meanwhile, has apprehended Tejinder Singh, alias Gorkha Baba, a resident of Mangewal village, who was responsible for Singh’s security. Singh has been on the run since police started cracking down on his group ‘Waris Punjab De’ last Saturday. Harsimrat Singh, the Khanna deputy superintendent of police, confirmed that Gill had been assigned to Singh’s security.
