Vikramaditya Calls for Increased Funding for Sports Sector

Himachal Pradesh is looking to enhance its sports sector and is turning to Haryana for inspiration. Sports Minister Vikramaditya Singh has instructed his department to study Haryana’s successful sports policy to find new ideas that can be implemented in the state.

According to Minister Singh, Haryana is widely recognized as having one of the best sports policies in the country and therefore offers a valuable resource for Himachal Pradesh.

The Minister stated that he has asked officials to carefully examine the Haryana model and identify points that can be adapted to suit the needs of Himachal Pradesh.

The state’s focus on sports is aimed at providing a much-needed boost to the sector, which has been neglected for far too long. By taking a leaf out of Haryana’s book, the state hopes to implement a new policy that will help to revive the sports sector and promote a healthy, active lifestyle for its citizens.

Overall, the focus on sports by the Himachal Pradesh government is a positive development, and it is hoped that the state will benefit from the best practices of Haryana to create a comprehensive sports policy that will drive growth and development in the sector.
