Evacuation operations were carried out, with affected residents relocated to relief camps across the state. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy held an emergency meeting with officials to assess and enhance the ongoing relief measures.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu personally visited flood-ravaged areas in and around Vijayawada late into the night, staying on-site until 3 a.m. despite security concerns, as the Krishna River flood continued to wreak havoc for the third consecutive day.
